Hi! I’m Christina.

By trade, a Workforce Analyst and Strategist and by passion, a career growth enthusiast that enjoys helping people move along their career trajectory.
I’m a Portland transplant with roots in Los Angeles and travel often between the two cities. I grew up hating LA summers, but fell in love with Portland’s summer scene. Now, I enjoy cozying up along the Oregon Coast, camping on Mount Hood, and eating my way through the city. If you can’t hear me belly-laughing nearby, then you can find me singing at karaoke bars, dancing at the park, or cooking my favorite childhood meals.
I’m an educator turned data professional who has mentored students and professionals since 2010 and worked with people data since 2017. Coupling my HR expertise and love for helping people thrive in their careers led me to found Fellow Kin, where I can help others on their professional growth journeys!

Failing calculus led me to get two degrees in math, both of which are geared toward statistics, experimental design, and machine learning. I turned my math struggles into a decade-long career in education where I developed my love for academic planning for my students. After grad school, I pivoted away from the teaching track and stepped into an industry-agnostic data space. Opportunities were plentiful but I found myself filling a void by helping friends build resume stories, edit cover letters, and prep for interviews.
Fast forward several years and I’m working in HR analytics where I empower folks with data to push initiatives in inclusion & diversity, recruiting, talent retention, and compensation. After lots of analyses and cross-collaboration in the HR space, I fine-tuned my methods and oriented toward equitable and effective strategies. I’ve since coupled my HR expertise with my love for helping others thrive in their careers to found Fellow Kin, where I can help others on their professional growth journeys!
Though my roots are in Los Angeles, my career took me to Portland, my second home. I travel often between the two cities and am lucky enough to have a place to escape LA’s spicy summers and Portland’s dreary winters. Whichever city I’m in, I enjoy all of the same things - singing at karaoke bars, dancing at the park, and cooking my favorite childhood meals. Meeting new people and relationship-building satiate my extroverted nature, so I’d love to meet you for a quick chat!
